The Pennsylvania Homecare Association will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, June 30 from 1-3 p.m. to discuss how to address the unique needs of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. The webinar is designed for all providers across the long-term care continuum.
Presenters for the webinar include Dr. Rachel Levine, Physician General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Penn State College of Medicine, and Dr. Lindsay Schwartz, Senior Director of Workforce and Quality Improvement for the American Health Care Association. Learning objectives include:

- To respect each person’s uniqueness as part of our commitment to deliver person-centered care.
- To enhance our ability to effectively listen, respond, and provide care to all residents regardless of personal feelings, beliefs, and values.
