The LGBT Elder Initiative has collaborated with the Philadelphia Gay News (PGN) to produce the 2018 Senior Supplement in PGN. The Supplement was printed in two parts, with articles released in the May 25th and June 8th print editions of PGN.

The articles compiled as part of the 2018 Senior Supplement touch on topics including Alzheimer’s in LGBT communities, the long-term care system, trans aging, overcoming isolation, and more. Writers for the 2018 Senior Supplement include representatives from the William Way Community Center, Penn’s Village, Action Wellness, SAGE, TransCentralPA, the Alzheimer’s Association, Jewish Family & Children’s Services, and the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly (CARIE).
