Today is Giving Tuesday, a global initiative encouraging us to lend our time and resources to charitable causes and to celebrate and encourage philanthropy. Following the commercial frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday reminds us that this season is not only about shopping and spending, but is also a season of giving.
As the LGBT Elder Initiative prepares for our 2019 programming, we are excited to bring our LGBT older adult communities programs and resources on critical issues including HIV & Aging, mental health, social isolation, Alzheimer’s and dementia, the long-term care system, and much more. We hope you will consider making a Giving Tuesday gift today to support this important work!
