Caring for an aging loved one can be immensely rewarding. It can also be stressful, lonely and isolating. Due to the time commitments and the many responsibilities of caring for another person, caregiving can come with a loss of social interactions and shrinking support networks. This isolation, on top of the continuous stress of being a caregiver, can negatively impact a caregiver’s physical health and emotional wellness.
This free workshop will explore topics related to caregiving and isolation, equipping caregivers with strategies to improve their self-care, maintain their support networks, and access resources that can support them in their caregiving. Even if you are managing the daily responsibilities of caregiving, all caregivers can benefit from more support and self-care.
