PCA will host its second annual “Enriching Lives, Preserving Dignity” Gala reception on Thursday, June 23, 2016 to benefit The Philadelphia Fund for Seniors. The fundraiser, which includes a cocktail reception and silent auction, will feature French-inspired entertainment, food and wine. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Atrium of PCA’s historic landmark building, 642 North Broad St.

Launched by the PCA Board of Directors in 2014, The Philadelphia Fund for Seniors is an initiative to strengthen agency resources to meet the complex and growing needs of Philadelphia’s elderly.  Since 2014, PCA has raised more than $245,000 for the fund, including more than $143,000 through the previous gala. “We hope this year’s event will prove just as successful, if not more,” said PCA President and CEO Holly Lange.

“Over the past decade, federal and state funding has not kept pace with growing needs and rising inflation,” Lange said. “The Philadelphia Fund for Seniors supports crucial services, including in-home care and home-delivered meals; caregiver support; and senior community centers; and so allows PCA to help older Philadelphians and improve the quality of their lives.”
