May 21, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Some people turn to substance use as a way cope with loss or deal with past traumas. Others use drugs and alcohol to connect with others or to heighten sexual experiences. Yet for HIV+ people, substance use can be particularly harmful. This program will explore substance use among people living with HIV, focusing on the health aspects of HIV and drug use, the impact of substance abuse on relationships, and the harm-reduction resources available in the community.

This program is free and open to the public. Light lunch and refreshments will be served.

Tokens will be provided to cover travel costs.
