There are several clinical trials underway in the push to find a safe and effective vaccine for COVID-19. These clinical studies measure the effectiveness of vaccines in preventing new infections or helping to control an infection so that it doesn’t become severe disease.

We will be joined by Dr. Ian Frank from the University of Pennsylvania to talk about COVID-19 vaccine research and clinical trials. We’ll learn about the clinical trial process and the studies currently taking place to find an effective vaccine. Dr. Frank will also speak about a new clinical trial currently enrolling volunteers, and what to expect if one joins the study.
