A project from SAGE (Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders), SAGE Story is a national digital storytelling program or lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults. The SAGE Story project has been collecting the stories of LGBT older Pennsylvanians who have been discriminated against because of their sexual orientations or gender identities.
The project, done in collaboration with Equality Pennsylvania, aims to help put a face on the need to modify present PA anti-discrimination law to include LGBT people, gender identity and gender expression. The proposed PA Fairness Act would prohibit these acts of discrimination throughout the Commonwealth.
